What a pedigree! Born wild and grown wild in the icy cold, pristine waters of Alaska. Harvested by a small fleet working historic scallop beds in the Aleutian Islands to Kodiak Island. Hand-shucked and flash-frozen upon harvest. Sought after and prized for their size, sweet delicate flavor, and firm texture. The largest scallops in the world with an average valve size of about 10 cm (4 inches). A Sweet, tender, buttery meat that is creamy in color which becomes white when cooked. Wow! No wonder our Weathervane Scallops are considered the best in the world by epicureans and shellfish enthusiast.
